Skin boosters like FillMed NCTF, deliver non-cross linked hyaluronic acid (HA), vitamins and nutrients into the deeper layers of the skin, to improve skin hydration, and enhance the appearance and quality of the skin.
Profhilo® takes a slightly different approach, combining high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid to not only hydrate but also remodel and tighten sagging skin. It spreads evenly across the treated area, improving elasticity and firmness while giving a smooth, natural lift. Together, these skin boosters offer a comprehensive solution for healthier, more radiant, and youthful-looking skin.
Skin Booster Options
Stylage® Hydromax
HydroMax is a specialised skin booster treatment created to deeply hydrate the skin and improve laxity and luminosity. It is made of cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA), similar to traditional dermal fillers, but it functions primarily as a skin booster rather than adding significant volume or structure. The formulation combines hyaluronic acid with Sorbitol, an antioxidant that helps the skin retain moisture and prolongs the effects of the HA. This unique formulation improves texture and revitalizes overall skin quality, giving a natural, refreshed appearance. It can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, and hands, making it a versatile treatment for overall skin rejuvenation. Although Hydromax cannot reduce muscle movement like Botulinum toxin, it can still be used to minimise the appearance of dynamic lines. By improving hydration, skin elasticity, and texture, making lines appear less noticeable when the face moves. It is not an alternative to botulinum toxin, but works well in combination, or as a standalone treatment.
Skin Booster Options
Fillmed NCTF 135HA
FillMed NCTF contains non cross-linked hyaluronic acid, amino acid and vitamins. It hydrates the skin, whilst promoting natural collagen stimulation, breaks down pigmentation, and repairs the skins barrier and DNA. It can be used anywhere on the face, including eyes, and can also be used for the neck or decolletage. It is injected using Nanosoft or micro needles. This is to ensure it is administered into the epidermal junction (very superficially) and also makes the treatment very comfortable!
A course of 3 treatments, spaced 2 weeks apart are generally required, followed by a maintenance treatment at 4-6 months (can vary for each individual, and depends on factors such as skin condition, age, and lifestyle).
Skin Booster Options
PROFHILO®
Profhilo contains a combination of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (HA). It is injected using the BAP technique, into 10 specific points of the face. It stimulates collagen production, hydrates and remodels the skin tissues, improves skin laxity, scarring, and helps with cases of loss or compromised adipose tissue.
2 treatments are generally initially required, spaced 1 month apart, followed by a maintenance treatment at 6-9 months (can vary for each individual, and depends on factors such as skin condition, age, and lifestyle).

Skin boosters are versatile and can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, hands, and other areas where skin appears dull, dehydrated, or is showing early signs of ageing. Treatments can also target specific concerns such as fine lines, or uneven texture.
An immediate boost in hydration and a subtle radiant glow can sometimes be seen after the first session. Over 2–4 weeks, the skin continues to improve, becoming smoother, firmer, and more youthful as collagen and elastin are stimulated. Multiple treatments (generally 2-4 depending on the brand/type of skin booster) as often needed for best results.
Results typically last up to 9 months, with some patients reporting visible differences up to 12 months. Results and longevity can depend on many factors, including age, lifestyle, and use of skincare. Regular maintenance sessions are recommended to prolong the effects and sustain optimal skin quality.
Discomfort is generally minimal. The treatment uses very fine needles or micro-injections, and numbing cream can be applied to ensure maximum comfort throughout the procedure.
Side effects are usually mild and temporary. You may experience slight redness, swelling, or small bumps at the injection sites, which typically resolve within a day or two. Minor bruising can occur in delicate areas.
