THREAD VEINS
At Adorn Aesthetics clinic, we use sclerotherapy to help treat spider and thread veins. Sclerotherapy is a solution that is injected directly into the vein, which causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is then reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades.
After sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to fade within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see the full results. In some instances, several sclerotherapy treatments may be needed.
After sclerotherapy the treated veins generally fade within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take up to 4-6 weeks to see the full results. In some cases, additional treatments may be needed and can be carried out after 6 weeks.

You will be required to attend the clinic for a consultation prior to booking in for sclerotherapy, so we can assess your suitability and ensure there are no contraindications preventing you from having the treatment.
Further information about sclerotherapy, the procedure and pre/post care advice will be discussed with you at this appointment.
